Working All Things for Good
Acts 8:1-8 NKJV
Saul Persecutes the Church
8:1 Now Saul was consenting to his death. At that time a great persecution arose against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles. 8:2 And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him. 8:3 As for Saul, he made havoc of the church, entering every house, and dragging off men and women, committing them to prison.
Christ Is Preached in Samaria
8:4 Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word. 8:5 Then Philip went down to the[a] city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. 8:6 And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 8:7 For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. 8:8 And there was great joy in that city.
When we allow God to use us in the way He has planned, we will grow into the person that He desired us to be.
God is always working things out for those that seek/love Him.
God has a plan for YOUR life. His plans are ALWAYS perfect.
Sometimes, God allows things to happen. He does so because he has a plan and purpose for such outcomes.
The church body is responsible for evangelizing others – it is not the responsibility of the pastor to do this. The pastor is responsible for empowering us by teaching us to seek God and spread the Good Word of God to others.
There is ONE GOD, ONE SAVIOR, and ONE CHURCH. We are many and we are from different backgrounds with one goal in mind.
Jesus is Hope for a dark world.
We have the answer to every trouble that we face.
We need to place our trust into Jesus Christ.
The power of the Gospel will set you free!
Allow the spirit to take control of your life and let the love overflow through you onto others. The Love of the Lord will change the hearts of others.
Don’t be afraid of persecution for God has a plan and God will protect and guide you.
How are you making a difference in someone’s life?
