This class will be focused on unpacking some of the central life application lessons found in the book of 1st Corinthians. In this book Paul corrects many false teachings that they had come to believe and patiently teaches them about worship, unity, and the Lord's Supper. His driving passion is love and his treatise on love in chapter 13 remains the greatest essay ever penned. Some of the key themes in this book deal with the body of Christ, God's call to sexual purity, how we honor God within human relationships, and love. Join us as we search this letter written by the apostle Paul.

In Something Needs to Change, Platt invites readers to come along on both the adventure of the trek, as well as the adventure of seeking answers to tough questions like, "Where is God in the middle of suffering?" "What makes my religion any better than someone else's religion?" and "What do I believe about eternal suffering?" David Platt takes readers on a heart-wrenching, soul-searching journey through impoverished villages in the Himalayan mountains. With riveting passion and surprising vulnerability, Platt dares readers to make a difference in a world of urgent need, starting right where they live.

A Clash of Kingdoms

When: Wednesday Nights

Time: 6pm-7pm/ March 24 - May 5

Where: Adult Room 3

Teacher: Matt Richards

Like the Roman Empire, today's governments or organizations can become centered on power and believe their messages are the "good news." As Christians, we're called to proclaim God’s name in all the earth (1 Chronicles 16:8), but how do we to do that in the midst of false gospels?

In this fifteenth volume of That The World May Know®, discover how Paul communicated the Good News of Christ to Philippi, a Roman colony that worshipped false gods. Can you live the message as Paul did while he encouraged the church in Philippi to consider itself a colony of heaven, not Rome? Consider your citizenship—and the message you convey to the world—as Ray Vander Laan takes you deeper into the culture of ancient Philippi.

Experience the Bible in historical context, as you walk in the footsteps of the second missionary tour of the Apostle Paul in Greece—in locations like Philippi, Thessaloniki, and Delphi.

Men's Study: Returning to Holiness

When: Tuesday Nights

Time: 6:30-7:30pm Starting April 6

Where: Portable

Teacher: Pastor David

How awesome to read of the past Great Awakenings where numbers equaling ten percent of entire national populations were saved in less than a year! The burning question is, “How can we see another great spiritual awakening?” Certainly prayer is crucial and evangelism is required. Yet according to God’s Word, prayer and evangelism must be combined with a profound return to holiness and spiritual cleansing (2 Chronicles 7:14; Isaiah 59:1-2; Joel 2:12-14). This is the key element so missing in today’s church! Alongside the exciting new strategies for prayer and evangelism, we must now see a return to utter humility and holiness before God. That is precisely the purpose of Returning to Holiness. By God’s grace, we can return to Him!
